Sushi oke are used to cool and mix Japanese rice with sushi vinegar and other ingredients eg. for 'scattered' sushi.

It has brass around it, not plastic, like many imitations! If you take care of it, this one will last for years, soak it before use and clean and dry it after use.

The wide, shallow shape allows the rice to cool quickly and evenly.

We designed this Hangiri with our chefs and are ever so happy with it, it looks great, cools the rice down effectively (not too deep) and is perfect for home and small business use.
